Hello and thanks for checking out johnservo.com.  After being at Grad School (UNLV, MM Jazz Theory /Arranging) in Las vegas for the past two years I'm happy to say that I'm back in Boston.  While of the West Coast I was fortunate enough to be 1st Bass Chair in the UNLV Wind Orchestra (Grammy Nominated), share the stage with musical greats Eric Marienthal and Guitarist Greg Howe, perform in a 10-day International Production at Austrailia's Adelaide Fringe Festival, arrange for one of the best College Big Bands in the country (Awarded Downbeat's 2010 "nation's best for Graduate College Large Ensemble Outstanding Performances"), teach at UNLV and enjoy the fascinating national parks of Utah.

After a short stint in Rochester NY post graduation I'm back in Boston and looking forward to performing, teaching, and arranging as much as possible.  Over the next few weeks I will be updating this website with new audio / video of performances over the past few years.  My contact info is up to date so if you want to get a hold of me for any performance or teaching opportunities don't hestitate to contact.
